Story Notes
After buying "The Message", Dana gave me this original story. Customizing my style to the story led to a comparatively more sophisticated look than my previous works "Encore" and "The Message."
I was determined to use Barry Windsor-Smith's "every blade of grass" approach, but didn't have the patience to apply it correctly. The typeset lettering is influenced by Hal Foster's approach of keeping the words away from the pictures.
